Everyone else, consider this: Doom is made to resemble and glorify a videogame. It has some tight action sequences and some righteous kills, and it succeeds in the things it sets out to do. However, these things do not include weaving a delicate tale of human interaction or composing a story that makes a lot of sense. If you can live with that, it's a hell of a ride. If you can't, just waitÂ… Oscar season is almost upon us.
