98764652 Doom-3 sounds download? Expansion pack problem DELTA LABS- Level 4......HELP NEEDED!!! Why my doom 3 cant change resolution?
A few days ago, Xbox Spokesperson Steven Moore was on the podcast of Major Nelson, where he said Doom 3 (and perhaps also it's expansion, Ressurection of Evil) has been announced as one of the additional 20-plus, originally 12, games that will be backwards compatible for the Xbox 360. Coming with it is also the popular Lego Star Wars.
While this addition is definitely worth it, Microsoft has continued to stay quiet on any further games that they may have planned to add to the ever growing list of games which can now be transferred from the Xbox to the Xbox 360.
According to the Computer Games Magazine website, Resurrection of Evil is the best Top Ten selling PC game in the USA. World of Warcraft and The Sims were close behind. See the full top ten list on their website.
GamePro has sent their review in on what the highlights of Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil are. Read about it here.

IGN have got their Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil review up. It's a three page review and although IGN give it a 8.4 out of 10 they do pick up and notice many issueswith the expansion pack which people should read, before picking up a copy of the game. However, they do comment on good changes. The now much more varied environments, being one of them.

id Software and Activision today confirm the April release of their upcoming Doom 3 titles. Mark those calenders for April 4th, the day both the Resurrection of Evil expansion pack for the original PC game as well as the Xbox console port are scheduled to ship.
'Brace yourself for a new breed of fear and excitement,' said Todd Hollenshead, CEO, id Software. 'DOOM 3 for the Xbox brings gripping action, unparalleled graphics and sound, and a truly terrifying experience to the home theater. This is DOOM 3 built for the Xbox, including 480p and wide-screen support, full Xbox Live multiplayer, and the Xbox exclusive 2-player co-op campaign. For fans of DOOM 3 on the PC, Resurrection of Evil takes you to the undiscovered depths of the UAC's Mars base and back to Hell itself for a vicious new battle with the forces of evil and the most ferocious demons imaginable.'
Doom fans waiting to play the game on the Xbox will now have to wait a bit longer according to Activision's earlier announcement that the Xbox version of the game and PC expansion pack, Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil, will not be released this March as earlier predicted.
Activision's projected release date for the games is the beginning of the 2006 fiscal year, which starts on April 1st. We can expect the games sometime after that, but most likely within the month of April.
